About Us

Our staff can work with your team to develop professional looking websites, marketing material, and technical documentation. Our team consists of professional designers, writers and Microsoft Certified software developers. Some of our past projects have included a technical documentation intranet for Shell Chemical, an online help system and printed user guide for AAA, training manual updates for Hard Rock Cafe and NBA City, and several training manuals for "a world famous theme park" in Orlando (yes, the one with the big ears). We have also worked with many small to mid-sized companies assisting in all phases of technical documentation, online help systems, website development, printed marketing material and more.

The Write Design is located in Pittsburgh, PA and owned by Alice Hoffmaster. Alice has over 18 years experience with designing websites, developing marketing material, and writing technical documentation for hardware manufacturers, software development firms and other service-related industries.

Alice Hoffmaster is a Pittsburgh native. She holds degrees from Robert Morris College and Florida Southern College. She started the business in Orlando, Florida in 1992. In 2002, Alice decided to return to her roots and moved the business to Pittsburgh.
